Elemental Control

Elemental Control is a Power. Characters with this power are capable of calling and directing elements of the natural world. Weather witches, shamans, and druids often have the ability to channel the forces of nature. Low level channelers merely move and guide natural forces in gentle, slow ways. High level channelers are capable of evoking titanic natural forces, including storms, earthquakes, and hurricanes.

Sense Weather

At-will, swift, self; you are capable of determining the eminent weather conditions with unerring accuracy over the next planetary day within a 20 mile radius. See Weather

Affect Air

At-will, Full Round, short; you can cause a 2 square cube of air to move 2 squares per round with a duration of concentration.

Affect Earth

At-will, 10 minutes, short; you cause a 1 foot cube of earth to move 1 inch per round with a duration of concentration.

Affect Fire

At-will, standard, short; you can cause a fire of up to 1 square to burn hotter and faster or slower and longer. Each use of this ability causes the fire to either increase its brightness, damage, and fuel consumption by 10% or lower values by the same.

Affect Water

At-will, 1 minute, short; you cause a 1 square cube of water to move 1 square per round with a duration of concentration.

  • Control Air: When using Affect Air, you can shorten the casting time to one swift action, increase the affected area to one 2 square cube per level and increase the speed of the movement to 1 square per caster level per action.
  • Control Water: When using Affect Water, you can shorten the casting time to one swift action, increase the affected area to one square cube per level, and increase the speed of the movement to 1 square per 2 caster levels per action.
  • Control Weather: When using Sense Weather, you can slowly shift the weather patterns in a 1 mile radius.
  • Move Earth: When using Affect Earth, you can shorten the casting time to one swift action, increase the affected area to one 1-ft cube per level, and increase the speed of movement to 1 square per action.
  • Pyrotechnics: When using Affect Fire, you can increase or decrease the effectiveness of the fire by 50%. Alternatively, you may increase it by +100% by spending 1 Mana, stackable.

  • Aeromancy: When using Affect Air, you can form air into standing or moving blocks, forming effective barriers against ranged weapons, gaseous attacks, and creating difficult terrain for enemies to move through.
  • Flame Bending: When using Affect Fire, you can cause the fire to reshape itself, moving the fire at the rate of 1 square per level. (forming columns, walls, or barriers)
  • Standing Water: When using Affect Water, you can cause the water you shape to be held in gravity defying shapes, such as columns, spheres, and cubes. Fine detail is impossible with this ability.
  • Stone Shape: When using Affect Earth, you can shape the earth crudely, like a sculptor would shape clay. While it is possible to shape crude coffers, doors, or sculptures, fine detail is not possible.
